Medical Waste Autoclaves
Bestech has been in the
incineration business for over 13 years, but over the last four
years we have been investigating the viability and applicability
of on-site alternative infectious medical waste treatment
technologies. In our research it is clear that steam
sterilization by autoclaving is as proven and reliable as
incineration.

We are the Southeast US agents for Bondtech Treatment Technology (BTT), a division of Bondtech Corporation. Since 1983, Bondtech has been supplying autoclave/sterilizer systems to the commercial waste industry. Bondtech has designed, supplied, and installed over 90 infectious waste autoclave/sterilizers for commercial operations. These large autoclave systems follow all EPA guidelines/regulations and are accepted in all 50 states. Bondtech has designed, engineered, and manufactured autoclave systems to technical industries such as aerospace composites, glass lamination, rubber vulcanizing, wood treating, yarn setting, and of course, infectious waste treatment.
BONDTECH
has more autoclaves processing medical waste in the commercial
market than any other manufacturer in the world. BONDTECH has
over 90 autoclaves in the commercial market processing over 2
million pounds per day. In fact, more than 90% of the newly
permitted commercial medical waste facilities since 1990 have
been BONDTECH autoclaves. They currently have units placed in 19
states and number 20 will be in a few weeks. At present BONDTECH
has 5 units in four hospitals in the U.S. but, the construction,
operation, controls, materials and support are identical to the
commercial market.
BONDTECH was the first to utilize pre and
post vacuum cycles on medical waste. This was done on the BFI
Lake City, Ga. Plant in 1983. Since that time all BONDTECH
medical waste systems standardize on the vacuum cycles. It is now
accepted in the industry that the vacuum cycles increase the
ability to sterilize all the waste and is especially important in
reducing odors and steam release into the processing room.
Once
you have seen a BONDTECH installation, you can understand why so
many companies choose BONDTECH. The equipment is of heavy
construction, built for many years of tough operation at the
BONDTECH

MANUFACTURING facility at Salisbury, N.C., where all Bondtech autoclaves, bin dumpers, lift tables, tracks, carts, control panels, condensers, piping and wiring are manufactured.
Service
Service after the
sale is a very important issue regarding any capital equipment
expenditure. BESTECH has been known for its service to hospitals for over
12 years. BESTECH personnel will install your BONDTECH system and will
have a detailed knowledge of the location and the operation. BESTECH will be your first line of
defense for service for the autoclave and other components that make up the BONDTECH
autoclave system.
